Amanda H.
Amanda H. is our Chaos Coordinator around SMART Dog School. She has been training professionally since 2005 including shelter work, rescue behavior modification, reactivity, aggression, and 14 years doing scent detection training/handling. She shares her home with her husband, their five kids, and seven dogs.
Amanda I.
Amanda I. is definitely the trainer most likely to make you laugh and she adds so much flair to our group classes. She's been working with dogs since 2015, when she moved to California and started walking dogs in Hollywood. She has experience with pack dynamics, puppy raising, and early service dog environmental work. She shares her home with her American Bully, Sandor!
Andrew H.
Andrew is the trainer sticking by your side in the great outdoors! When he's not at school teaching, he's training and running his rabbit dogs for fun and competition. He has been training since 2007, with experience in dog daycare, obedience, service dogs, and deer tracking. He shares his home with his pack of seven dogs and a few bunnies!
Nevaeh H.
Nevaeh H. is our resident ray of sunshine! She has been training professionally since 2023 and her favorite classes to teach are confidence building with nervous pups. She shares her home with her fiance, their son, and three dogs.
Abby J.
Abby J. is the newest member of our SDS team. She started with us when her family signed up for classes, then became an intern during the summer in 2023. When she was ready to start officially working, she joined our team! You'll find her teaching our intro classes for new students, and assisting in group classes. She shares her home with her Boxer, Piper!
Nina & Randy B.
Nina & Randy are the owners behind SDS! After opening the business in 2017, Randy was the sole trainer and operations until he grew the business and began adding to his team. In 2023, he took steps back from the daily aspects to work on other projects. You'll see them around town and at events. They share their home with their two kids, six dogs and a Cockatoo!

To be honest, I wasn’t a believer at first but now I’m a huge fan of S.M.A.R.T Dog School. I have a very unique breed dog with very unique personality to match: she is a Korean Jindo with pretty severe fear aggression problem so her behaviors includes growling, barking, lunging and biting. We needed help knowing what and how to teach her and build confidence. Randy at SDS thankfully is very fluent in dog so there is no more guessing game with my fur baby. I can now confidently teach her and show leadership and most importantly I can truly enjoy her to the fullest. You don’t have to just take my word for it. They offer a free consultation so you can see it for yourself and you will not be disappointed for sure. Well worth your $$ and time. Highly recommend SMART Dog School..
